Are you a seasoned Legal Advisor with a passion for Labour Law, ready to make a significant impact? Join our vibrant Labour team in Bloemfontein as we seek an experienced and well-organized individual to contribute to our dynamic environment.

Minimum requirements:

  • Relevant legal qualification (LLB) ) other similar qualification is a must
  • Admittance will be advantageous
  • 3-5 years of experience in Law and Labour Law will be advantageous
  • Fluency in English and Afrikaans will be advantageous
  • Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong, confident character with the ability to work under pressure
  • Self-reliant, accountable, and possesses a high level of integrity and confidentiality
  • Must have own reliable transport

Your duties as a Legal Advisor will include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Provide legal advice to clients on labour legislation, both remotely and on-site
  • Handle administrative assistance and attend to our Labour "Help-line"
  • Conduct general administration functions within a legal environment, including drafting charge sheets, employment contracts, policies, and procedures
  • Research, review, and benchmark contracts, policies, and relevant legislation
  • Assist with unions and negotiations
  • Chair disciplinary hearings
