Skills Development Facilitator for our Cape Town Office

We are seeking to employ an experienced and well-organized Skills Development Facilitator (SDF) to join our energetic SDF team in Cape Town.
The ideal candidate should be a team player as well as an individual performer that is willing to work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment.
Minimum requirements:
- Certified Skills Development Facilitator
- Grade 12 and any relevant tertiary education
- External SDF of at least 2 years’ experience will be advantageous
- Knowledgeable on applicable legislation relating to Employment Equity and Skills Development
- Experience on the various SETA systems will be advantageous
- Computer literate
- Microsoft Excel
- Must have own reliable transport
- Due to the vast majority of our clients being Afrikaans speaking, this is a necessity for the position
Your duties as a SDF will include, but not be limited to the following:
- Stay abreast with changes to legislation and reporting systems by attending workshops and roadshows
- Register on various reporting systems (SETA information systems)
- Compile and submit reports to relevant SETA (Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) / Annual Training Report (ATR)) within the specified time frames
- Compile and submit Employment Equity (EE) reports to Department of Labour within the specified time frames
- Advised the client on the implementation of the WSP.
- Act as a contact person between the client and the Seta.
- Serves as a resource with regards to all aspects of Skills Development and Employment Equity.
- Communicate Seta initiatives, grants and benefits to the client.
