Looking for a Receptionist for our Johannesburg office


The ideal candidate should be highly presentable, reliable, be willing to learn and grow with our company and be a good team player.  

Minimum requirements:

  • Matric/Grade 12
  • An admin related qualification will definitely be an advantage
  • Preferably have 3-5 years administration related and reception experience
  • Applicant must be fluent in both Afrikaans and English
  • The candidate must be fully computer-literate (Microsoft Office suite) and have excellent administration and organisational skills
  • Excellent phone etiquette and telephone manners
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional personal presentation
  • Customer service orientated
  • Attention to detail and use own initiative
  • Ability to work a switchboard
  • Own reliable transport is an advantage

Daily duties will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Answering telephones and operating the switchboard
  • Taking of and relaying messages
  • General office and administration duties
  • Covid-19 screening and reporting
  • General typing and updating of information
  • Providing information to incoming callers and clients
  • Greeting individuals that enter the organisation
  • Directing persons to the correct destination
  • Monitoring of visitor access and maintaining security awareness
  • Tidying and maintaining the reception area
  • Dealing with queries from the public and clients
  • Salary range is market related
